Employee Tax Credit Eligibility Check & Application: 2023 ERTC Rebates Update
Bottomline Concepts, a contingency-based cost-saving firm, has updated its Employee Retention Credit (ERC) eligibility assessment and application service to comply with the latest amendments, which have expanded both the eligibility and rebates available through the pandemic relief program.

Using the updated program, employers can qualify for rebates even if they operate a startup, a new business founded during the pandemic, or a non-profit organization, such as a church, school, or clinic. Employers can claim up to $26,000 per employee in rebates, which are not a loan or deferral, never require repayment, and have no restrictions on how they can be spent.
The Bottomline Concepts financial team works with each client to determine which fiscal quarters they may be eligible for, and the maximum allowable rebate they may qualify for. Though individual rebates will vary based on several factors, there is no upper limit on the funding available, and the financial team has helped business owners to claim rebates ranging from $100,000 to over $6 million.
The eligibility assessment is open to all employers with no cost or obligation and can be accessed on the Bottomline Concepts website. Business owners that have already enrolled in, or received funds through, the federal government’s Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) can now also apply for ERC rebates after changes made in the Consolidated Appropriations Act.
After completing the eligibility assessment, employers will be able to access the fast rebate application service, which uses a team of ERC application specialists to help determine each business’s maximum allowable rebate. The program also provides assistance with completing the required paperwork, and ensuring it’s filed correctly.
Any business can qualify for ERC rebates, as long as it had between 5 and 500 W-2 employees on the payroll during the pandemic, and was negatively affected by it in some way. This can include suffering financial losses, temporary closures due to lockdowns, or complications caused by remote working and social distancing.
A spokesperson for Bottomline Concepts explained, “The program is complex and might leave you with many unanswered questions. We can help make sense of it all. Our dedicated experts will guide you and outline the steps you need to take so you can maximize the claim for your business.”
