Dan Hendrix, Massage Therapist Reveals New Case Study On ARPWave Effectiveness

Dan Hendrix, Massage Therapist, LMT #404, EMT revealed a new case study today on ARPWave and Effectiveness of Accelerated Recovery Performance for Post-ACL Reconstruction. This case study demonstrates that Accelerated Recovery Performance for Post-ACL Reconstruction Patients and Athletes

The case study also made it obvious that ARPWave Accelerated Recovery Performance Resulted in Significantly Better Strength.

Dan Hendrix, Massage Therapist, LMT #404, EMT owner Dan Hendrix says there are many people looking for insights and answers about ARPWave and Effectiveness of Accelerated Recovery Performance for Post-ACL Reconstruction. This case study reveals in a practical way what’s possible with the right information and guidance.

Patients undergoing ACL reconstruction surgery often worry about ever returning to sports. Usually undergoing physical therapists or athletic trainers 6-9 months of rehab in order to ensure a smooth transition back into activity.

Traditional rehab can focus on treating the physical aspect of rehabilitation, but accelerated recovery performance takes a different approach. Instead of treating just the physiological issue at hand, it addresses the neurological root cause of what’s ailing.

Accelerated Recovery Performance in Post-ACL Reconstruction.

Patients who have undergone anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction surgery strive to regain knee motion and strength through rigorous rehabilitation with the ultimate aim of returning to competitive sports.

Many sports medicine practitioners employ an expedited recovery approach, as it helps increase range of motion (ROM) and increase strength without compromising stability.

Although this approach has proven successful for most athletes, there are limitations. For example, it may not be suitable for individuals with lax grafts or those at high risk for reinjury. Furthermore, patients may take longer to regain their pre-injury levels of strength, mobility, and proprioception.

Furthermore, the type of autograft can have an effect on muscle strength and hop performance after ACLR. The two most commonly used autografts for this procedure are hamstring tendons (HT) and bone-patellar tendon-bone (BPTB).

However, no randomized studies have compared the effects of either a standard or an accelerated rehabilitation protocol for these two autografts. This study sought to compare patient performance at various follow-ups after ACLR treatment using either autografts.

This was conducted through a randomised controlled trial, in which 160 patients who underwent ACLR were randomly assigned to either a standard or an accelerated rehabilitation protocol. Isokinetic concentric quadriceps strength and the performance of the SLH test were assessed before surgery, 4, 6, 8, 12 and 24 months after ACLR.

Results revealed that patients randomized to an accelerated rehabilitation protocol had significantly better strength and hop LSI scores than those assigned the standard rehabilitation protocol. Furthermore, the accelerated group experienced greater range of motion (ROM) improvements as well as greater knee extension than nonaccelerated individuals.

Though more research is needed to confirm the effectiveness of an accelerated protocol for improving strength, this appears to be a promising alternative to traditional rehab protocols. Furthermore, this approach can also be utilized with other soft tissue injuries in order to accelerate healing time and reduce scar tissue formation.

ARPWave

ARPWave is a neuromuscular electrical therapy device that utilizes low-voltage direct current to penetrate injured muscle tissue and break down existing scar tissue. This helps retrain muscles to relax and elongate, which reduces pain and inflammation while healing takes place.

ARPwave is an FDA-approved class 2 medical device used for treating various musculoskeletal disorders and injuries. It effectively treats arthritis, sprains and strains, hip flexor injuries, back pain, and other musculoskeletal issues.

Find out more about the ARPWave treatment by visiting Dan Hendrix, Massage Therapist in Montgomery, Alabama. Dan Hendrix has been providing ARP Wave information that detects and treats many injuries. Instead of treating the area that causes pain, it addresses neurological disconnects between brain and muscles, then resets feedback loop to improve connection for rapid recovery times.

It is capable of treating patients with injuries that have not responded to other therapies like drugs, surgery or rehab. This method is ideal for those seeking a less invasive solution for resolving injuries and improving health outcomes.

Dan Hendrix quoted, “The ARPwave system is a revolutionary combination of bioelectrical current, active range-of-motion and exercise techniques designed to dramatically accelerate the body’s natural recuperation capacity. Classified by the FDA as a class 2 medical device, ARPwave can reduce healing time from weeks or months to days!”

This system can benefit patients of all ages who are suffering from a musculoskeletal disorder or injury that has not responded to other therapies. It may even be beneficial for athletes looking to avoid surgery and get back on the field.

ARPWave stands out among other forms of treatment because it targets the nervous system, muscles, and their neural connections in an integrated manner to reduce pain, increase mobility, and boost physical performance. This revolutionary treatment approach has been scientifically proven effective for treating conditions such as knee injuries, sprains/strains, whiplash injuries and more sports-related issues.

Conclusions

ACL injury is one of the most devastating knee injuries for athletes, leading to significant time away from sport, functional impairments, reduced quality of life, financial burden and early onset osteoarthritis [1-6]. Furthermore, not only does an ACL reconstruction cause physical harm but also psychological and social effects which make adherence and participation in rehabilitation essential for successful clinical outcomes [5-7].

Results show that an expedited recovery performance program can be successful for improving strength gains and decreasing the risk of retear among young athletes after ACL reconstruction. This can lead to improved athletic performance, shorter time to return to prior levels of performance postsurgery, as well as increased scholarships or professional opportunities.
