New York City, New York Apr 12, 2023 (Issuewire.com) – New York’s ChumHuffer is releasing its first studio record Orgy of Hate on April 21, 2023, through its own label DWY Records on all streaming sites and on a limited edition Lathe-Cut Vinyl available on their site or at shows. CDs are also available if you like coasters with lyric sheets.

This is the follow-up effort to their DIY release Blood in the Water. ChumHuffer brings all sorts of influences to their sound but has a strong foundation in old-school hardcore punk. Orgy of Hate features seven songs and they all have a life of their own. Featuring subjects like the world of hate that we live in, technology running our lives, and…how Frank Turner plays for so damn long. The influences of the band can be heard easily. From Dead Kennedys, the Dwarves, Descendants, and Avail. Every member brings their own style to create the hectic sound that is ChumHuffer.

The band is Shawn Refuse on vocals, Blackout Matt on guitar, Joe Dorane on leads, Ryan Paig on bass and Jimmy Duke keeping the pace on drums.

Orgy of Hate was produced by the band and Glen Lorieo, who also recorded the album.
