Hot Yoga of East Nashville Offers Training Programs for Aspiring Teachers and Curious Yogis

Nashville, TN – Hot yoga takes place in a heated room to enhance blood delivery to the muscles, release more oxygen in the blood, speed up the breakdown of fatty acids/glucose, and make muscles less susceptible to injury. The added heat challenges a person’s focus, resulting in resilience and mental and physical strength.

Hot Yoga of East Nashville believes everyone deserves to feel at ease and at home in their body while connecting their minds and spirits. Clients receive guidance and instruction from seasoned and deeply-dedicated instructors in Vinyasa Power Flow, Buti Yoga, Bikram-Method, and restorative classes. Although each instructor approaches the practice uniquely, they ensure clients have a transformative and renewed time.

Aspiring hot yoga teachers and curious yogis desiring to dive deeper into the practice, longing to start a new adventure, or using their passion as charity for their communities can sign up for a training program. The program provides an accessible approach to learning the art paired with practical, hands-on experience to accomplish the knowledge and skills of teaching yoga.

Hot Yoga of East Nashville offers various 200-hr training immersions in Montana where certified instructors take students on a magical journey to discover their inner wisdom and unearth the teacher within themselves. To them, becoming a yoga instructor is more than learning how to guide students through a class but about the personal growth they will endure while on the journey.

With this in mind, they provide a safe and peaceful environment for daily meditation, yogic lifestyle education, introduction to various sacred ceremonies, and yoga sutras philosophies. The studio has lodging options like glamping, campers, cabins, and main house rooms for aspiring teachers who desire to unplug or prefer the comfort of four walls. During teacher training immersion, students begin their day when the sun rises to form a deep connection with the earth. Their days comprise meditation practices, education about yoga, guided techniques, teaching practices, and outdoor activities. Students who complete the training are eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT).

The 300-hr training at Hot Yoga of East Nashville allows students to complete the five required courses plus their choice of five electives to become RYT. The program can be completed over nine months, 18 months, or longer, based on the student’s lifestyle and preferences. By combining this with the 200-hour training, students can become a 500-hour RYT, the highest international standard for yoga teachers. The core curriculum runs from October through March yearly, and in-person weekend programs are held from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon, providing ample time for completing coursework.

The online 300-hr yoga teacher training has additional one-on-one mentoring from Hot Yoga of East Nashville. Instructors work with online students to observe their teaching and application of the methods to ensure they prepare to be inspirational yoga teachers.
