Thermoregulating Nylon Jackets & Heating Outerwear For Extreme Cold Update
As abrupt cold-weather outbreaks have been reported across the USA, the Washington-based clothing designer has updated its range of temperature-regulating jackets and vests.. The phase-change outerwear keeps wearers warm in cold conditions, helping them to prepare for climate change. These garments adapt to both hot and cold temperatures. Pack light with just one garment.

Lined with Comfortemp PCM fabric, the jackets self-regulate their temperature in response to external conditions. The two-step thermoregulating technology absorbs excess body heat when it’s hot, and releases heat when it’s cold.
According to a recent Washington Post report, arctic warming may be responsible for the severity of recent polar vortex events. The circulation of stratospheric winds recently drove winter storms and record cold temperatures to parts of the US.
As such, originally developed by NASA scientists for use in space suits, Zentek Clothing’s lining keeps the body comfortable in temperatures ranging from -20 to 100F. The jacket’s outer layer is made from coated ripstop nylon with weatherproof properties or a water resistant Taslan Nylon cloth. All products are machine washable.
In addition, the phase-change jackets are lightweight – weighing just 13- 25oz. They are suitable for use when traveling, hiking, biking, jogging, and for many more outdoor activities. The dual-action fabric also prevents overheating and can be used in hot weather and for women experiencing hot flashes.
Featuring both front and side seam pockets, the unisex jackets are available in sizes XS to 2XL. Customers can choose from a wide range of colors. Waterproof options include black, purple, and orange.
Other products include activewear and tracking vests, chilly scarfs, fleece blankets, sleeping bags, boot insoles, and bedding. The company also provides products for dogs which include search and rescue and sports coats, canine cool wraps, and pillow sham mats.
Zentek Clothing was founded in 2007 by professional dressmaker Janice Kajanoff. The product line expanded from the designer’s research into temperature-regulating fabrics and the development of breathable, water-resistant, and temperature-controlling coats for dogs.
A company spokesperson said: “Zentek’s smart performance wear has been designed to suit all kinds of occasions and match every taste – no matter if you are planning to hike up a hill in winter or if you are looking for a jacket that will help you stay warm and comfortable when you take your motorcycle out for a ride.”
