Neon signs were first unveiled at the 1910 Paris Motor Show by inventor Georges Claude. After the show, they went on to become one of the most popular ways for businesses, organizations, and establishments to promote their products and services. However, with the advent of LEDs and other more practical lighting systems, sales of neon signs have seen a sharp decline. With its updated neon sign pillow range, Pilloo is trying to help customers recreate the feelings that neon signs evoked by providing them with unique decor for their homes or businesses.
Pilloo’s collection of neon sign pillows includes over ten different styles for customers to choose from. Some of the pillows feature only graphics, such as the Big Bright Lips pillow, while others feature only text, like the Girl Power, Happy Birthday, and Awesome pillows. A few of the pillows provide a combination of both, such as the Cocktail Party and Rock & Roll Festival pillows.
The pillows are made using 100% high-quality polyester and soft velvet, providing elevated durability and comfort. Also, the designs are printed using non-toxic inks and resins, making them more environmentally friendly and allowing them to be washed more without fading or bleeding.
“I recently turned my basement into a bar and I wanted it to have an old school, 80s vibe to it,” said a satisfied customer. “I decided to get a few of Pilloo’s neon sign pillows just as decorative pieces for the couches I have down there. I’m really happy with them–the colours pop and they fit perfectly as far as the setting I’m trying to create.”
