Rosenthal Kalabus & Therrian Announce the Addition of New Attorney, Doug Gladden

Rosenthal Kalabus & Therrian is pleased to announce that Attorney Doug Gladden has joined the firm.

Doug began his legal career as a prosecutor in El Paso, Texas, and quickly moved to Dallas, where he served as an appellate prosecutor in the Dallas County Criminal District Attorney’s Office for nearly 10 years. During that time, he was lead counsel for the state in many direct appeals and presented oral arguments to the Fifth District Court of Appeals in Dallas. There he worked on many high-profile cases, including the prosecutions of Amber Guyger for the murder of Botham Jean and Roy Oliver for the murder of Jordan Edwards. Doug’s passion as an attorney has always been criminal-justice reform. In 2015, Doug helped the DA’s Office establish its annual Expunction Expo, which has now helped nearly 2,000 people clear their arrest records. Doug has also pushed for multiple legislative reforms.

Doug is Board Certified in Criminal Appellate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He has served as a member of the Committee for a Qualified Judiciary in Dallas and recently has been appointed to serve a two-year term on the State Bar’s Criminal Pattern Jury Charge Committee. He got his law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Science degree, with honors, from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
