Atlantic City Apartment Movers, Items to Pack with Bubble Wrap Guide Released
A recent article published on Forbes revealed that most individuals (67%) perform mostly DIY moves. Movers.com understands that most people — especially those moving for the first time — may not know what supplies to use to best protect fragile items. As such, it has published a new guide titled “Top Items to Pack with Bubble Wrap”.
More details about Movers.com and the full list of most fragile items can be found at https://www.movers.com/packing-guides/top-items-to-pack-with-bubble-wrap.html
From TVs to artwork and glassware, fragile items can easily get damaged during transport, if not properly protected. In the new guide, Movers.com lists the top items that should be treated with extra care during relocation, and recommends using bubble wrap for packing.
“When packing for a move, properly protecting your most fragile items is a major concern — it’s imperative your fragile wedding china, crystal wine glasses, and costly flat screen TV arrive at your new home without so much as a scratch,” says the guide. “Luckily, proper packing materials and methods can help you sleep easier. Bubble wrap is one of the best packing materials which helps for protecting your items.”
Wine glasses, china, glass tabletop, glass cabinet doors and shelves, mirrors, artwork, vases, and electronics are, according to Movers.com, the most fragile items found in most households. To properly protect them during a move, the guide offers step-by-step packing advice. For example, to prevent damage to the flat-screen TV, Movers.com recommends wrapping the TV using pink, non-static bubble wrap and packing it in the original box, when possible. Alternatively, movers can use a sturdy moving carton.
Similarly, Movers.com explains how to best pack chinaware. Aside from carefully wrapping each piece in bubble wrap, the guide recommends using a layer of packing paper first, lining the moving box with crumpled paper for cushioning, and filling any gaps in the box with an additional layer of paper and bubble wrap.
All boxes containing fragile items should also be labeled accordingly, to ensure they are handled with extra care.
For those consumers who are worried about bubble wrap’s impact on the environment, Movers.com suggests using water-soluble bubble wrap as an eco-friendly alternative.
