GTI Energy completes acquisition of uranium geophysics data

GTI Energy Ltd (ASX:GTR) executive director Bruce Lane tells Proactive the company has completed the data acquisition phase of a series of aerial geophysical surveys over its Wyoming in-situ recovery (ISR) uranium projects, specifically Lo Herma, Green Mountain and Loki West. The data includes detailed radiometric, magnetic and electromagnetic information which will allow GTI to refine targets for drilling programs. Final interpretations by the company are expected to be available in September.
Wyomings Department of Environmental Qualitys Land Quality Division also approved the release of a A$489,099 drilling bond back to the company.
GTI recently declared the maiden uranium resource at the Lo Herma Project in Wyomings prolific Powder River Basin uranium production district.
The mineral resource estimate (MRE) assumes mining by in-situ recovery (ISR) methods and is reported at a cut-off grade of 200 ppm U3O8 (triuranium octoxide) and a minimum grade thickness (GT) of 0.2 per mineralised horizon as: 4.12 million tonnes of mineralisation at an average grade of 630 ppm U3O8 for 5.71 million pounds (Mlbs) of U3O8 contained metal.
