Black Women Who RV (BWWRV) is set to revolutionize the RV and outdoor recreation industry with its groundbreaking social network designed to connect, encourage, inspire, educate, and support Black/African American women who are passionate about the RV/van life lifestyle.

California, United States, 25th Jul 2023, King NewsWireBlack Women Who RV (BWWRV) is set to revolutionize the RV and outdoor recreation industry with its groundbreaking social network designed to connect, encourage, inspire, educate, and support Black/African American women who are passionate about the RV/van life lifestyle. Founded by Tracey Forde, a trailblazing adventurer who discovered the transformative power of RV’ing in 2022, BWWRV aims to bring about greater diversity and inclusivity to an activity that has been historically misrepresented and overlooked in Black communities.

Ms. Forde’s journey into the world of RV’ing began with the spontaneous purchase of a 32′ RV, an act that would forever change her life. Throughout her travels, she realized the striking lack of representation of Black women within the RV and van life community. This absence of diverse voices and experiences inspired her to create a space where Black women could find a sense of belonging, sisterhood, and empowerment.

BWWRV seeks to change the narrative surrounding Black participation in outdoor recreation and RV’ing, combating stereotypes and challenging systemic barriers that have historically discouraged Black individuals from engaging in such activities. The social network strives to inspire, educate, and encourage Black women to embrace the RV/van life, tapping into the freedom of adventure and connection with Mother Nature that is every human’s birthright.

“RV’ing is not something we hear about often in Black communities because of the economic disparity and inequality we face,” says Tracey Forde, the visionary behind BWWRV. “Through this platform, we are reclaiming our right to explore, grow, and thrive on the road, while also working towards dismantling the oppressive conditioning that has held us back for far too long.”

By fostering community building and representation, BWWRV is reshaping the landscape of the RV industry and camping world. The network aims to welcome more Black women into the fold, celebrating their unique perspectives and enriching the RV community with diverse voices.

BWWRV’s mission extends beyond recreation; it’s a transformative initiative with a powerful purpose. The platform stands as a beacon of hope and healing, addressing historical and generational trauma faced by Black communities while actively combating systemic racism. By liberating minds, bodies, and spirits from colonial and patriarchal conditioning, BWWRV aspires to inspire a new wave of confident, empowered Black women who embrace the joy of RV’ing and outdoor exploration.

Currently, BWWRV operates through a private Facebook Group and Instagram, which has already garnered a devoted following. Tracey Forde and her team are working diligently to expand the network’s reach, with plans to establish a dedicated website in the future.
