Halifax Medical Esthetician Course, No Qualifications Career Training Launched

With these new courses launched by the Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy, students with no prior qualifications can complete their training in up to a dozen of the most popular MedSpa treatments and become fully certified to begin working in a medical aesthetic clinic.

Further details about individual courses, certifications, treatments, and the complete training program can be found at https://dermysk.com/pages/academy

Although the Dermysk Academy has become well-known as an aesthetician training school, with locations stretching from coast to coast in Canada, these new courses use a hybrid learning program that allows anyone to apply, even if they do not live near an Academy location. With the new course structure, students can complete most of their certification online, with only about one week of hands-on training required.

To apply for the Dermysk Academy’s Basic training program, students will require only a high school diploma or some form of relevant work experience. However, enrollment in the Advanced course, which teaches more complex procedures to experienced MedSpa workers, requires a minimum of 5 years of industry experience, or graduation from the Basic training course.

In the Basic program, students will learn everything required to begin their MedSpa career and will gain enough real-world experience to begin working in a clinic immediately after graduation. This program includes training in micro-blading, dermaplaning, professional acne treatments, laser tattoo removal, and several other popular procedures. A full list of procedures taught in each class can be found on the Academy website.

To make the training as convenient as possible for its students, the Dermysk Academy makes online modules accessible from anywhere with an internet connection and allows students to work on them at any time. When students have completed their online schooling, they can schedule their practical, hands-on training at the nearest Academy location.

During the practical training, students will work with real medical aesthetic tools and clients, while closely supervised by a Dermysk Academy training specialist. At the end of the one-week training session, students will be fully experienced in all the Basic procedures and will be enrolled in the Academy’s post-graduate support program.

This program helps graduates to find career placements in their local area, as well as job opportunities across the country, and allows students to return at any time to upgrade their MedSpa training with certification for more complex procedures, such as Cool Sculpting.
