Investments & Wealth Institute Announces Agenda for Lifecycle Planning Virtual Conference

–News Direct–

The Investments & Wealth Institute (IWI), has announced the agenda and lineup of speakers for the Lifecycle Planning Virtual Conference , its inaugural virtual event that primarily features five thought leader panels comprised of cutting-edge practitioners, as well as industry and academic experts who will identify and address the unique financial planning and wealth management opportunities that impact individuals and families at different stages in the human lifecycleranging from early career professionals to those who are well into their retirement.

While there are so many great conference and online education experiences out there, I have yet to come across one that is purposefully designed to walk attendees through the unique planning opportunities that are available to individuals and families at every life stage. We often focus on strategies that are tied to income and net worth and miss out on the nuanced needs of clients based on where they are in their careers and what major life events are of most importance to them. said Dr. Ross Riskin, DBA, CPA/PFS, CCFC, MS Tax, and Chief Learning Officer of the Institute and who is also moderating the event. If you are deciding to work with the next generation of clients in preparation for the great wealth transfer or you have decided to focus on a particular niche of clients, this is the event for you. Not only will you learn about the latest planning strategies, you will also learn about the power of lateral thinking and how to use Smartcuts to solve the problems of the future for your clients.

Registration is now open for this one-day virtual event, which will be held Tuesday, September 19, 2023, from 9 AM to 5 PM EDT. Until September 1, registration is $195 ($395 after that date), and members of IWI who have upgraded their membership to Signature or Elite status may register at a significant discount. Another unique aspect of this event is that a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Investments & Wealth Foundation to help advance its mission to provide scholarships for underrepresented professionals to pursue CIMA, CPWA, and RMA certifications and reduce the financial barrier to certification through scholarship.

Attendees may earn up to five IWI continuing education (CE) credits as well as up to five CFP Board CE credits (pending approval). Sessions will be recorded and available in IWIs Online Learning Center for on-demand viewing October 3, 2023 April 3, 2024.

The five thought leader panel sessions will be complemented by five interactive demos from fintech and solution providers* such as Asset-Map, Bento Engine, Private College 529 Plan, FP Alpha, and TIFIN Wealth, as well as a closing keynote presentation by Shane Snow, an award-winning tech and media entrepreneur, journalist, and global explorer. Details on the events full agenda of sessions and speaker lineup are included below.
