Baselode Energy completes drill program at the ACKIO zone on its Hook project

–News Direct–

Baselode Energy CEO James Sykes joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share news the company has announced the successful completion of a comprehensive drill program on the ACKIO uranium zone within the Hook project, situated in the Athabasca Basin area of Northern Saskatchewan.

This endeavor encompassed 36 drill holes spanning a total of 7,512 meters. Notably, the ACKIO zone itself accounted for 30 of these drill holes, totaling 6,193 meters.

Sykes highlighted key outcomes and achievements derived from this drill program. Several drill holes intercepted elevated levels of radioactivity, indicating the potential expansion of the mineralized footprint. This is a significant indication of the presence of valuable mineral resources within the project area.

The company achieved multiple milestones, including the extension of mineralization along strike and at depth, the discovery of additional shallow mineralization (such as Pod 7), the identification of thicker mineralized zones within previously modeled areas, and the delineation of a new trend of mineralization at the Mirror target.

The Mirror target is particularly noteworthy for displaying intense alteration over a width of 300 meters.

These findings underscore the project's potential and hint at the presence of substantial uranium mineralization. The accumulation of positive results from the drill program reflects the effectiveness of Baselode Energy's exploration efforts and underscores the company's ability to make meaningful strides in understanding the geology and resource potential of the Athabasca Basin region.
