Metuchen NJ Teen Anxiety & Depression Therapy: Mental Health Coaching Expanded
Led by Christina H. Chororos, Kairos Chronic Pain Coaching is now reaching out to teens in Metuchen, offering mental health therapy for anxiety and depression – both of which are becoming more and more common among younger generations. Owing to her personal experience as a fourteen-year deep infiltrating endometriosis (DIE) sufferer, Dr. Chororos understands how to help teenagers and youths develop the coping skills necessary to overcome their mental health challenges.

The announcement is in line with the center’s mission to teach coping strategies that help kids, teens, and young adults manage their anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges.
Kairos Chronic Pain Coaching points out that there are common difficulties shared by most people suffering from chronic illness and tailors its treatment plans to address them. In either a one-on-one or family session, the center can help teens and children get back in control of their thoughts, actions, reactions, and behaviors.
With the help of a professional counselor and family therapist, Maria Sikoutris-DiIorio, MA, Ed.S., LPC, Kairos offers clients a combination of traditional therapy with allopathic and complementary therapies to help them self-manage their difficult situations, emotions, harmful thinking patterns, and impulses.
According to Christina H. Chororos, following this custom treatment plan can help clients heal and overcome their anxiety or depression. Using her expertise in the field, she employs an integrative approach to teach clients both coping and self-management skills to help them move forward from the past and make a fresh start.
