Global Battery Direct Launches Battery Distributorship Serving North and South Carolina

Global Battery Direct opened it’s door in March of 2023. The recently formed company is an official battery distributor in North and South Carolina for many of the quality, USA made, and foreign-manufactured battery lines.

The newly formed company recently acquired and set up it’s headquarters at 529 Seaside Rd SW, Ocean Isle Beach, NC 28469. Global Battery Direct was formed largely to meet the growing need of the thriving Golf Cart industry in the local metro area as well as all of North and South Carolina. They are a distributor of the increasingly popular Lithium batteries as well as a complete lineup of automotive, marine, commercial, deep cycle, powersports, and lawn & garden batteries.

The management team at Global Battery Direct has over 30 years of experience in the battery industry as well as vast overall business experience. The founding members are Bobby Caffese, Ralph Luce, and Shawn Rayno. All of the founders are locally based near the Myrtle Beach metro area where NC and SC converge.

According to co-founder Bobby Caffese, “When I was working in the golf cart industry, I kept seeing huge growth. We all saw a possible opportunity in batteries to provide what the public, and especially the dealers wanted. So when Shawn and Ralph and I met, we started talking. Over time I began to get to know them, and saw what could be possible. I knew how experienced and smart they were. We talked about how we could do better, and it all just came together. We seized our new opportunity very quickly and never looked back once we saw it could be done.”
